Lviv businessman Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy is the honorary president of the FC Ruh in Lviv. In 2009, this Ukrainian entrepreneur took the adult and youth teams of the FC Ruh in the town of Vynnyky under his protection.

FC Ruh has become a four-time champion of the Lviv Region Premier League among amateur teams. Additionally, FC Ruh won the Lviv Cup three times, the Regional Super Cup, and the Ernest Yust Memorial, honouring the most successful coach in the history of the Lviv Karpaty team. In October 2014, for the first time in its history, FC Ruh became the champion of Ukraine among amateur teams.

Vynnyky’s Ruh has often invited renowned football players to join its ranks.

Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy

It is no secret that the Ukrainian businessman has an interesting history with the president of FC Inhulets, Oleksandr Povorozniuk. In an interviews on his YouTube channel and with journalist Ihor Burbas, the scandal-prone Oleksandr Povorozniuk made numerous statements about Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy and his businesses. Kozlovskyy, disagreeing with this information, took legal action to challenge Povorozniuk’s claims.

Burbas posted an interview with Povorozniuk on his Telegram channel. In the interview, various allegations about Kozlovskyy were made.

The court ordered Burbas to publish a rebuttal by Povorozniuk, once he records it. This pertains to both his YouTube channel and other platforms, including Facebook and Instagram, as well as the UA-Football LLC and Orbita Service Private Enterprise. That is the football channel of Oleksandr Porovozniuk which contains the video of the interview and one more video of Porovozniuk.

Kozlovskyy and his companies filed lawsuits against Povorozniuk, Burbas, and the UA-Football website. A total of five lawsuits were filed—two by Marvel International Tobacco Group LLC and three by Vynnyky Tobacco Factory LLC.

The founder of FC Ruh Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy has won the case for the protection of honour, dignity, business reputation and objection to the defamatory statements.

The president of FC Inhulets Oleksandr Porovozniuk has lost court case to Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy

The court ruled in favor of Kozlovskyy, recognizing the claims made by Povorozniuk as false and defamatory, intended to discredit a football and business competitor.

The president of FC Inhulets is now required to record a video rebuttal for his YouTube channel, Facebook, and Instagram—it must also appear on Burbas’ Telegram channel and the ‘UA-Football’ website.
Additionally, Povorozniuk is obligated to compensate Kozlovskyy for moral damages, court fees, and the costs of conducting expert examinations.

At the same time, in lawsuits filed by Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy’s companies, the court also found the information to be untrue. Just as with Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy’s lawsuit, Oleksandr Povorozniuk must refute everything and compensate court costs and damages in favor of Marvel International Tobacco Group LLC and Vynnyky Tobacco Factory LLC.

Meanwhile, all court cases were resolved peacefully, with both sides reaching an understanding and signing a settlement agreement.
